After heading back to the hotel for a short nap on our first day of arrival, we went to an amazing dinner at a typical Roman restaurant. They served seven courses, all small though so you didn’t feel at all over filled when you were finished. They serenaded us while we ate and gave each of the ladies a rose as we left, delivered by our male waiter, with a kiss.
When we returned to the hotel it was dark so we strolled over to St. peter’s square to see it all lit up and it really is beautiful. It was also much less crowded so it was better picture taking.
