We arrived at the Singapore Airport and had a message from the Marina Bay Sands hotel that their representative would meet us just outside of baggage claim and telling us what gate our luggage would be on. Our bags had priority tags on them and unlike the US, they actually honor those tags here. Our bags were first off and within minutes of depaning we were in the car and on our way to the hotel. We are staying at the Marina Bay Sands hotel, a famous hotel in Singapore also called "The boat" because the 3 hotel towers are connected at the top by an observation deck and a massive infinity pool that looks like a ship.

We were metat the hotel by Eunice who took care of all of the checkin and other things while at one of the restaurants where she provided coffee and we ordered breakfast. Our room wasn't ready due to the early hour but by 10:30 they had our room ready and we were able to check in. We headed up to the pool to experience it and rest a bit.

We headed back to our room and showered and walked over to the attached luxury shopping mall called "The Shoppes" to see if we could find some things and also to get lunch at the food court. We were succesful on lunch but everything else was too expensive and we decided to try another place later for the things we needed. We headed back to the room to take a nap since Conrad has had no sleep and Shawn had only a few hours.

Our room is more like an apartment on the 32nd floor with a large living area with dining table, a walk in closet, a massive bathroom and a separate bedroom.
Unfortunately after the nap Conrad woke up feeling really unwell, adn starting to run a fever. He has a bad cough and so we decided to just stay in the room tonight. We were able to watch the gardens by the bay light show from our room.

We went to bed early with the hopes that the rest helps Conrad feel better.
