Today is a full sea day and the seas are quite rough so most people are taking some sort of motion sickness medicine which makes everyone tired so it's nice that there's some time to rest.

We had breakfast in the main dining room called 270 - because it has a 270 degree view. At one point during the meal all of the dishes and glasses slid off the table except those that people could catch due to a large wave. We got everything righted again and continued on. After breakfast Shawn went to a talk to meet the naturalist and expedition staff in the ince lounge while Conrad took a rest while listening from the room.

We heard about our day in the Stanley the capital of the falklands which is in a few days. We learned how to get into and out of a Zodiac and other information about how to leave and re-enter the ship from the Zodiacs. We all have lockers on the 3rd floor of the ship called Base Camp where we depart the ship on the Zodiacs or Kayaks and return to the ship. You need to wash your boots upon returning in order to not spread any diseases, particularly bird flu from one place to the next.

We mostly just hung around the room today leaving for meals and a tea in the afternoon. It's too rough out to do much else.

We went to the Captain's cocktail party in the evening and the sea was calming down at that point. We heard about the places we would stop in the Falklands the next day and then had some dinner before heading to bed.
