On our second day in Rome we had quite a full day. The wake up call came at 5:45 and we headed out to Breakfast. We were inside the Vatican by 8 am, entering by a special group entrance an hour before it opens to the general public. Our tour guide knew everything there was to know about the Vatican. We saw the libraries and all of the beautiful paintings and carvings leading into the Sistine chapel. We then toured the chapel and were out in the square in time to see the Pope at 10. Since our guide knew some of the guards they told us just where to stand to see him pass by.

We then went on to the coliseum, and the forum.

In the afternoon we went to the Trevino fountain, and the spanish steps which were beautiful. Hre we all are in front of the Spanish steps. More details tomorrow.
