We started our day as usual with a good breakfast at the Creekside and then headed to Rialto beach, about an hour from our lodge. We then will work our way back towards the lodge stopping at the Hoh Rain Forrest for a short hike there.

Rialto Beach is a dramatic stretch of coastline where the forest meets the sea.

We found a parking lot at the end of Mora Road off State Route 110 (La Push Road) from Forks. The parking lot has restrooms and leads to a short accessible path to the beach.

The beach is known for its sea stacks, driftwood, and tide pools. We then followed a popular hike north to Hole-in-the-Wall, a natural rock arch. The trail is about 1.5 miles each way, following the beach. We weren't able to get all the way to Hole in the Wall because of the tides but we got lots of beautiful views.

Rialto was covered in loose small rocks and was a difficult walk but well worth it. We then headed off to the Hoh Rainforest and a short trail that we wanted to hike there. The trail was covered in huge trees (many covered in moss) and ferns and lots of green plants. It was very pretty.
