Karongwe day 3 - 5/31/2026

We had one finalmorning game drive this morning before a long drive back to Johannesburg where we will spend the night before a smaller group of us will continue on to Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls. We were lucky enough to find the leopards again and this time see a baby

Then our jeep had a flat tire, the second one in as many days and we were right beside a group of Zebra and Giraffe so we got some time to just watch them while the tire was changed.

We returned to Johannesburg after the game drive, about an 8 hour drive, and checked into the same hotel that we had been in before heading to Kruger, It was in Rosebank and called Southern Sun. We met with the whole group for a final goodbye dinner and also said goodbye to our head guide (CEO) Braison who had been with us for Kruger and Karongwe. He was very good. We will get a new guide in Zimbabwe.
