8/12/2017 – Headed to Iceland

We left Scotland yesterday headed for Iceland. We ran into a storm at sea which slowed the ship and also caused lots of rocking and bumping. Many people on the ship were sick but we were luckily not. We did get some time to nap, and catch up on other things on the ship.

We sat beside the pool which was closed with a net across it. We sat and had some Gelato and listened to the waves in the pool hit the side of the pool, it sounded quite a bit like the ocean.

Arrival in Iceland has been delayed by 3-4 hours and so our first tour will be curt short but all in all it was handled well and we’re looking forward to Iceland. More later. ]
