Today was a day at sea and we spent it doing lots of errands like getting cash to tip the waiters and housekeeping folks, straightening out our airport transfers that were wrong when we got them, and collecting our passports. It’s formal night again on the ship so we don’t have a lot else to do but get dressed. We took a walk. We were at guest services several times during the trip for different things and there is a really great woman there named Niko who arranged for us to get early tenders in Santorini, and made sure that our transfers to the airport were corrected. Just like the Greek waiters prefer to talk to me, Niko definitely prefers to talk to Conrad, and given that she’s very pretty and very nice, I don’t think that he minds one bit.
We took a picture of the blue water of the Mediterranean Sea, it’s a different color than any of the other waters that we’ve been in.

After dinner we went out on deck because we were going to pass Messina on our way to Naples. We took a few pictures of the harbor and Torre Farro as we passed. Rino and Lala and Barbara went down to the beach at Torre Farro and waved an Italian flag so that we could see them. We did see the flag and got a picture but the lighting was terrible by the time we got the picture so all that you can make out is the flag. It was nice of them to go down to say goodbye and we had fun looking for them and seeing the flag.

You can barely make out the Italian flag on the beach in Torre Faro that Rino and Lalla and Barbara were waving as we passed.

One more day tomorrow in port at Naples and we’ll be back to the Airport and flying home on Monday. We’ll post again tomorrow after Naples.
