5/1/2016 – Columbus

Trip to Columbus April 2016

Mom and I traveled to Columbus to visit the Crew out there. Kelley’s team was playing two games that were close enough to stay in Columbus and still catch her games.

We took a vacation day on Friday and got up at 4:30 AM to set off on our adventure. We made full use of that vacation day!

 When we landed at CMH it was too early to check into the hotel so we planted some flowers at Greg’s grave. We then checked into the Hilton Columbus, Downtown which was the perfect location for us. Close to Conrad’s apartment and in the center of the Arena district.

We headed off to Pick up Colleen and then drove north to Findlay University to see Kelley’s GVSU Lakers Lacrosse team win a good game on a beautiful sunny day.

After Kelley’s game we headed back to Columbus to see Thomas’s team play a game against a team from Michigan. It was close but they pulled out the win.

We headed back to downtown Columbus and wrapped up the day with a couple of glasses of wine at Conrad and Steph’s loft apartment.
